Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) - an evidence-based treatment approach

At Oregon Center for Change, we believe in the importance of personal accountability, integrity, and building on individual strengths. Treatment here enables people to think more clearly, better manage their emotions, and make more mindful choices about their behavior.

Treatment at OCC: think more clearly, manage emotions, make mindful behavior choices.

Treatment at OCC includes structured cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based methods. The purpose? To help individuals identify and change errors in their thinking and consequently, their behavior. We believe that personal change can only occur in a setting where clients experience empathy, respect, warmth, trust, and positive regard.

OCC primarily offers group psychotherapy for adults, though individual therapy is also available. Treatment is always personalized. It may include recovery support for individuals affected by trauma or other experiences that affect personal growth, relationships, and positive engagement in the challenges of everyday life. Our goal is to help each of our clients live a good life with greater meaning and purpose.
